HERE GOES NOTHIN....

well my friends it look like summer is sadly coming to an end, as labor day is right around the corner. what this means is a farewell to BBQ's, cooler weather, & back to school sales. bummer.

but if you're a self-proclaimed TV junkie like myself, then you're getting pretty psyched about the beginning of an all new TV season. it's like being a kid in a candy store: series debuts, season premieres, new nights & times (GREY'S ON THURSDAYS????), and the fun guessing game of what's going to sink or swim.

i'm just besides myself to finally be rid of the garbage that makes up 90% of the summer's primetime lineup (most of which are horrendous reality shows like "so you think america's got talent w/ celebrities") i mean, praise tom cruise for netflix (my summer savior!) & the tiny handful of entertaining shows like project runway & hell's kitchen; otherwise, my roommate & i would have to resort to deal or no deal (I REFUSE - HOWIE MANDEL IS THE DEVIL!!) or some cheesy 90's flick on USA/TBS.

so with all this said, i'm really looking foward to network TV's return - looks like there are some decent new shows coming out (except on FOX where all of the show titles appear to conist of 1 word: KIDNAPPED, VANISHED, STANDOFF, JUSTICE) and i'm glad to see the amazing race moving to sundays on CBS. autumn, i welcome you w/ open arms!

and i'm spent...

here in the geeky corner of the world, i'm most excited about a brand new season of Battlestar Galactica! But new seasons of The Office and My Name Is Earl are going to be great.

I'd also be interested in getting into a new series, so you'll have to share your thoughts on new shows, sassy.
