Movie Watch: Little Miss Sunshine

And the Oscar goes to.... Little Miss Sunshine! Maybe it's just me but the summer movie season sucked big time. The suckage is over. Little Miss Sunshine is the best movie I have seen all year. It's offbeat, hilarious, well written, fast moving, and wonderfly acted. The movie follows a disfunctional family as they take a road trip to the Little Miss Sunshine Beauty Pageant. The little girl who plays Olive is amazing, but it's hard to pick out a standout performance because each character is brilliant. Bottomline=Fabulous from start to finish (especially the big finish).

I saw this on Sunday, it was phenomenal. I love TONI COLLETTE!!!

As a side note, I met Andre 3000 from OUTKAST in the theater. He is my neighbor, and we shop at the same WHOLE FOODS MARKET, too. That's how I roll....I'm a baller. LOL.

i think Toni Collette is great, too. Her eerie personality makes her a true rarity in film these days: the mysterious "everywoman" who can play a multiude of roles.
