Topic of the Day --- Sunday
What do you like to do on Sundays? Are you a fan of watching tv all day or do you like to spend the day filled with chores? Do you have no choice but to fill the day with chores?
I am the type who spends the day thinking about chores that need to be done.
Then I will turn the tv on.
Then I will pass out into a four hour mid-day nap.
Then I will wake up and realize that the garbage is overflowing, i need to go to the store for a variety of household items, and there is definetly no food in the house to eat.
Then I watch awful reality tv/celeb shows on VH1. :)

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. Sleeping in till 12, a whole stretch of unencumbered daylight to play in. It is a malleable day, full of possibilites. You could get up early and go to a wedding for the entire day or you could relax, take in a long 3 and a half hour movie at home, with enough time for breaks for popcorn or bathroom trips.
Some of the best TV this past year has been on Sunday night, with the superb comedy Arrested Development on FOX and the huge hit Desperate Housewives on ABC. Both great shows to end a weekend. The only problem with Sundays is that, eventually - whether you want them to or not - they end.
Sunday's the last day you've got to handle all the crap you've been putting off till the weekend; as such, i spend it gleefully procrastinating. This leads to an ever-rising tide of fear and generalized paranoia in re: said responsibilites, culminating in a final charge of "Screw it, i'm finishing this book and going to bed".
Like now. Yay new Terry Pratchett.
Oh yes, the "Sunday fear" where you realize that it is the end of the weekend and you got nothing done. I know that well.
sunday is the day when i wake up and wish i could turn back the calendar one day. actually, i feel like that everyday, but most especially sundays. i'll go to church for a few hours (or recover from a fierce saturday night), putz around the apt watching mindless, addictive tv and then spend a few lovely hours at barnes and noble or borders seeing what new stuff's out there for me to read.
Saturdays are better than sundays because they usually come first.
