A Band With A Heart

Franz Ferdinand visited the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital on Monday night (November 21) to play a three-song set to young dialysis patients.

The band presented the hospital's consultant paediatrician Dr Ian Auchterlonie with a cheque for £10,282 on behalf Of the charity Kidney Kids Scotland.

According to The Scotsman, the money will go towards specialist beds, dialysis scales and a part-time dietician focused on attending to children with renal disease.

Yet another reason why You Could Have It So Much Better with Franz Ferdinand.

I hope you all have been listening to the new album!
