Sex Pistols Giving the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a Big F You

The Sex Pistols were recently nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Many people would see how the nomination of a punk group who is clearly against the corporate music industry and is anti-establishment in general would be a bad choice for the Hall of Fame. Needless to say, the Sex Pistols declined the offer.

It definitely isn't punk rock to pay money for a reception celebrating your place in music history. Then what is punk rock, you ask?

This was posted on John Lydon's Website (John Lydon is Johnny Rotten's real name) (Johnny Rotten was the lead singer for the Sex Pistols just in case you didn't know). So anyway, in response to the nomination John Lydon posted the above "Official Announcement from the Sex Pistols" to tell the Hall Of Fame what the Sex Pistols really thought of the nomination.

Now that's punk rock!!
