Project Runway - Keith Michael a Fake?

Best Week Ever Reports on Television Without Pity's Expose on Keith Michael.
Is Keith Michael Just a Copycat? You decide! (See the Update Below)

Left Side - Keith Michael's Portfolio
Right Side - Famous Designer's Runway Shows (see Best Week Ever for more)

Right Side Designer: Giambattista Valli Spring 2006

Right Side Designer: Lacoste Spring 2006

Right Side Designer: Marni Spring 2006

What did I say about trusting a man with first names as his first and last name....

(and again, this two first name thing doesn't apply to Julie or her family!!)

***UPDATE****

And this is just one reason why I LOVE the website Blogging Project Runway - all of the designers read about themselves and respond to the criticism.

Take a look at what Keith Michael had to say about his portfolio.

Keith Michael...I think you are great. Regardless of what people say you have amazing talent...and people are mad because you were confident in your abilties to create. Even the idiot Kayne who turned you in...said I could design without a pattern...it would just take longer...well there you go...I believe in you and hope to see more things from you.

I don't think you can call someone an idiot based on adhering to upholding the rules. Unfair advantages should never be rewarded, and while Keith made a strong showing with his designs it's been revealed that even on the show he was using pages from the pattern books, copying over them with pencil or pen to make it look like they were his original sketches and then carried them into the work room without the slightest guilty conscience. In my opinion he's the real idiot.

Is that a *fact*? If so, please link me to your source, I'd be curious to see this information with my own two eyes.

I think you may be confusing the two scenarios...

1 - the pictures linked on the blog are from Keith's portfolio he used to get on the show

2 - the patternbook is a seperate thing that he may or may not have used during the show - no sketches were shown from the pattern making book to my knowledge

I bet this is Keith Micheal himself. Keith was always rude and over confident, and he deserved to be kicked off. He had no right to be above anyone else. So yes, Boo Keith, boooo!
