The Future (part 2)

Last year Elad and I visited New York and went to the Whitney museum and saw a very interesting piece of "art." It was a large box (looked like a cargo box that they use at ports or put on the back of trucks) and inside was a fully functional home. Not quite as cool looking on the outside as the one in this picture, but inside it had every touch of home you would need (bed, kitchen, entertainment, bathroom, comfort)

The small cars (like the car in the picture) are out on the streets today ready to deal with gas and pollution issues. And I guess they are building these cube homes for the future when space is an issue....think it is every really going to happen?

i'm not sure about the house just b/c of the current state of mcmansions. however, i think the smart cars will definitely be a common fixture in the future. i definitely want to get one when it's on the market here (is it here yet? last spring, i was talking to a smartcar exec who said it would be out in the u.s. next year).
