Is Every Family Crazy?

My family has pretty much weekly gatherings for friday night dinners. This past week we have seen each other a few more times then normal because of holidays and each time the night ends in someone being frustrated or annoyed and wanting to go home.

So I must ask myself - Does everyone have a crazy family? Is drama inevitable at a nice at home dinner? And I don't mean the extended family - I mean your immediate family that you see on a normal basis.

What is dinner like when there isn't that drama? I probably have had a few dinners were no drama has occurred -- but it seems like a long time ago....

Family dramas... eheheh welcome to the club... YES, it exists and is not to be alarmed.
Family members have different needs/situations at diff. times (you are prepairing a delicious dinner with loving feelings, someone come willing to share emotions, other one is thinking this is sooo boring, other....) and i.e. emotions find in these gatherings, the best ground to be let out, cause one feels in a safe ambience, probably the only one for others.

Emotions are to be expressed, its denial and neglection only creates diseases and pain, soooo they need to come out!
It is in the way we react to them that usually the drama is created.
In my case there are 2 kind of family gatherings: A. When we're all smiling, following non-sense coonversations and willing this finish quick or - One comes charged usually with past family issues that where never solved and decides today is the day.... unfortunatelly it stays unsolved cause usually nobody wants to face these.

I wish family drama would get to the roots causing the situations. Once the root comes out you can deal with it, everything is easier. It could be absolutely therapeutic!

Depends maybe on what is the drama about and not to let anybody leave before the root comes out, everybody calms down and the cleaning starts.... no matter how long it takes.... Ready?

It all depends what the drama is about.
Can be crazy & can be normal.
