WB + UPN = CW Network
News has broken today that those two random stations known for playing repeats of old good shows and sitcoms about minorities or girly sappy dramas will join forces to make one consolidated station in September 2006. I guess each station alone wasn't make the cut ratings wise.
Will the Friends/Seinfeld/Sex and the City/Raymond/Simpsons repeats continue? Will Gilmore Girls lose out to Girlfriends? Is there competition between Veronica Mars and Smallville? And the token reality show - will it be Americans Next Top Model or Beauty and the Geek?
These are questions I need answers to. Ok not really.
(By the way, I knew Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) when she was at NYU - she lived down the hall from me and was good friends with my suitemate.)

actually she was super nice - like had that mid-west feeling to her -- of course that didnt mean she sat home by herself or anything - she was part of the musical theater section of Tisch (the acting school) and all those kids loved the drama and to go out dancing
wow, im losing another channel?? i have refused to go to digital or dish tv. im an oldie analog cable gal. and losing another channel stinks! any word on whats replacing it? if anything?
yea the CW network - which is a whole new network that will start in sept 2006
