What Did This Woman Do To Get Fired?

Mary Lambert did one simple thing. Be a woman.

This is the church in Watertown, NY. She worked there as a Sunday School teacher.

They have a new Church policy based on the first epistle to Timothy which says:

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."

Rev. Timothy LaBouf and his church have made the stance that a woman should not teach in a church. He said "I believe that a woman can perform any job and fulfill any responsibility that she desires to outside of the church."

Bullshit.
