Happy 4th, Y'all!

Ok I have been watching waaaaaaaaay too much Paula Deen.

Anyway - just wanted to take a moment to say Happy 4th! Go out and celebrate independence. Whatever that means.

And as a tiny update on my homeowner crazyness - just thought I would share that my A/C was installed. But, guess what? It doesn't work. And it has been raining every afternoon/evening here in Miami. You can just guess how muggy it is getting in my condo.

Anyway - the day has been fun. I spent last night at my sister's house and then today with my family. We came home a bit early and are hoping to check out some downtown Miami fireworks.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July is right here and the only thing I want to celebrate is the new Air Conditioning Unit that is being installed in my condo tomorrow. FINALLY!


Oh and guess what - my washing machine finally works right! That only took 2 months and 7 trips from Best Buy.

Happy 3-14 or Pi Day

Happy Pi Day! It is March 14 (or 3.14) which starts off the infinite sequence which is equal to the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.

Today fans of Pi are meeting to celebrate.

And once a year many of them gather to talk about pi, rhapsodize about it, eat pi-themed foods (actual pie, sure, but so much more), have pi recitation contests and, just maybe, feel a little less sheepish about their unusual passion.

Today happens to also be Albert Einstein's birthday.
