wu-tang clan - wu-tang forever. laughable? yes. good? absolutely.
Yo, that gets my approval, Tim. Being from NYC and the Bronx, I heard tons of Wu-Tang growing up. Hiphop was never my thing (save the odd Outkast record) but I always recognized Wu-Tang's artistry.
As for me, I've been listening to a lot of The Mountain Goats lately. Their latest album is amazing. Spoon's latest. And this new band, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, for the last two days. Liking it a lot.
And, of course, Bloc Party!

and tim, you'll be happy to know that i plan to get/download the new Four Tet. as you know, the last album didn't REALLY work for me, but as I've immersed myself in indie ROCK for the last few years, I feel like getting into more electornica.
yea man, the new album is way more free jazz. its quite good.
i don't listen to music at work. i don't have a car or an mp3 player b/c i'm a broke ass student. i have kanye west playing in my boyfriend's car. what i'm listening to currently are the voices in my head. no accompanying tunes tho.
julie -- you need to start maxamizing your lexis or westlaw use so you can get major points and then cash them in to get a free mp3 player.
i used to do all the quizes and log on every day for points -- that was an old addiction (see other addiction post)
shawn, that's a great idea. i used to do all the quizzes and log in last year for points but i got lazy this year, which is just so stupid b/c i could score free stuff!! i'm getting on that this fall.
