Monday January 29, 2007 is the

Miss America Pageant!

Is anyone else excited about this?

This will mark the second year that the Pageant is held in Las Vegas, after a lengthy tie to Atlantic City. This year's pageant will be televised live on CMT.

I'll be rooting, of course, for Miss Georgia.

Last year, Miss Georgia was the first runner up.

We Southerner's do a few things well, and thank God, pageantry is one of them.
