Looking for a New Job?

The European Space Agency (ESA) is looking for 12 people willing to take part in a human experiment - 17 months in an isolation tank on Earth. The experiment is meant to simulate what it is like to be on Mars. The pay is 120 Euros (or about $158) per day. You won't get much glory or rich by joining this crew. Your contact with the outside world is limited to a radio signal that is on a 40 minute delay.

If any space agency is going to send a group to Mars they first need to know if it is physically and psychologically possible. This simulation should help figure out if one could stay healthy and sane while doing tasks in a tight confined space for 17 months.

Hmm 520 days away from all this? Tempting...

If you are interested check out the application here.
