Vancouver

I know we keep on posting the wise words of Transit Miami here - but we just can't agree more with what that blog has to say!

And this week Transit Miami has put a spotlight on Vancouver and how it is a successful city that refuses to focus on automobile transportation. It manages to be free of high volume car congestion but still has a high volume density population at the street level.

I have actually been to Vancouver and was impressed. The mass transportation system was easy to use and took us to all the places we wanted to go. On top of that, the city was clean, easy to navigate and still hip and fun. And you would never guess that a city like Vancouver is just about the same age as Miami. It is amazing what a good city plan can do.
