Counter Point: Hybrid Cars Not a Fad?

Lori recently posted about Hybrids being a fad or not living up to their hype.

This article dispels rumors about Hybrids. It doesn't say Hybrids are a cure, it just says it is a partial solution for a growing problem.

Not saying that Lori is wrong because the article doesn't address all of the points she raises - but there are different opinions out there about this alternative car.
