Project Runway - Season 3 - Episode 8 - High Flying Fashion

Has anyone else been unable to stop using the phrase "make it work" at least 10 times a day? Oh wait, is that just me? Wow I love this show.

This episode was all about the hip, international jet setter. Does anybody know any jet setters, for real? I mean, ok, sure Paris Hilton is on a plane all the time doing her international thing. But that is because Japan loves her so much! (How can she not go?) But look around you - do you know any jet setters? I know a lot of people who sit in an office, type away all day at a desk, maybe live 40 hours a week in a cubicle - possibly have traveled to a few random countries over the past 15 years - but definitely not jet setters. So how are the designers supposed to know what a jet setter looks like if they really don't exist? That is like designing for fans of Vincent - do they really exist? (Oh Vincent, I'm just kidding!)

First we start with the model pick. Two models had to be cut because they haven't been used over the past few episode. And now I ask my weekly question - why do we even care about the models? Is this really a competition for them?

Anyway, we saw some air kisses between Heidi and the auf'd models - and then saw some blabber about Amanda being really into the competition (I think that is Kayne's model - is she the talky talky one?). I am not even sure why Bravo even cut to a model talking. I would almost rather watch Jeffrey make whiny moan sounds. I said almost.

Heidi announces that the designers will be designing for a hip jet setter (whatever that means!). They quickly rush off to the work room. They are told they have 1 day, $75 dollars and 15 minutes to sketch. And, oh yea, they are designing an outfit for THEMSELVES! Nice twist!

And once again this week we have found ourselves on another uneven playing field. With four men and three women remaining, and no men's wear in site (hello Keith Michael?) how are the three men supposed to design for themselves? I am actually a little surprised they haven't ever made their own clothes. It is like a chef not making his own meals.

At Mood the designers all pick out colors and patterns that really reflect their personalities. Kayne picked something that looked like a big butterfly on acid. Uli picked a bunch of mismatching prints. Vincent picked black. Jeffrey picked something dark and faux. Angela picked something wacky. Michael picked something smart. And Laura picked something sleek.

Back at the workroom the tension between Jeffrey and Angela is high. Jeffrey quacks about Angela's mother. Angela gets all defensive. Jeffrey accuses Angela of trying to screw him over last week. Really, a bunch of unnecessary drama to fill the time. Jeffrey get over it! Angela stop making pathetic faces!

After Tim comes by and gives great tips all around (do you think the designers bow to an alter of Tim bobble heads at night before they go to sleep?) they head back to Atlas. Michael tries to show Kayne how to walk like a man, talk like man....And well we all know Kayne just doesn't have that smoothness in his step. Kayne said it perfectly - Michael got the ghetto flavor - and Kayne is just white trash! Awww Kayne. You ain't no Britney Spears. How can we say white trash in a good way? Maybe Hick Chic? Haute Hillybilly? Or Le Gar-Baje de Tar-je? (That would be Target Garbage for those not familiar with Shawn's language).

The next morning the designers are back at Parsons - and today they get to feel like Models! Primped and cleaned up for the runway. Of course Michael doesn't need that attention - he is too hot for the runway! He spends his time putting the finishing touches on his outfit! (Every time I think about Michael I just know this competition is his, anyone else agree?)

The models (designers) take the runway. Take a look at what we got:

The guest judge tonight is Francisco Costa (from Calvin Klein). And of course we get Nina Garcia, Michael Kors and Heidi Klum.

The judges score the designs, ask questions, and give positive reviews to Michael (hotness, yet so cool), Jeffrey (rock and roll), and Laura (no rib cage! Upgrade! YAY!). And even though Vincent is a little simple, he still gets some good remarks. Uli is told that her outfit is very "Miami" which is all her - but they want to see something different already. Kayne is told that he has become Elvis (and not in a good way). Angela looks like a hot mess with the rosettes on her ass (when is she going to learn??) and the judges tell her the fabric choice was awful for a jet-setter (silk linen! oh the wrinkles!)

And just when we think it is all over and someone is going to be cut, they are given another surprise! The designers are told they have 1 hour to get to the airport - because they are the jet-setters! The designs are going to be judged again when they land in the secret destination. After they see how the outfit holds up on the trip, the winner and loser will be announced.

Wow. I love it!!! So unexpected! Even the designers have no clue where they are going - so they throw things into a bag and hope for the best.

As they arrive in the airport they check in and find out they are going to....PARIS!!! FASHION CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!!! And not only are they going to Paris, they are flying First Class. And to make the deal even sweeter (how is that possible?) they have Tim Gunn with them. Who wouldn't want to travel with Tim?

The designers play with all the toys in first class and then we see them arrive in Paris. So beautiful. (Yes, that would be me who is VERY jealous right now.) We see all the big landmarks, and then the most important spot of them all - Parsons Paris!

The designers arrive at Parsons and find only 6 tables in the workroom. Someone is going home. Oh Project Runway, so cruel. Fly them to Paris and then send one back home before they even had a chance to complain about something.

We are introduced to another special guest Judge - Catherine Malandrino (a famous French designer) - and she has the designers walk the workroom (like a runway) and adds her scores to the NY judge's scores to find the winner and loser.

It is a close between Michael and Jeffrey for the win - but Jeffrey comes out ahead. Jeffrey really is having a great day. Not only is he the winner, but the one person he wants out is sent home - Angela.

I am not so sad to see Angela go. This outfit was wrong wrong wrong all around. Rosettes. Fabric. Cut. Color. Just didn't work at all for a Jet Setter. And it was Angela's time to go. She just isn't at the same level as the rest of the designers. Yves Saint Laurant she is not.

Predictions: Next out - Kayne. Then Vincent.

What is going to happen to Uli? Will she be in? I am starting to worry for her. The Judges really want to see something different. Come on Uli - make it work!

Final 3? Michael (for sure). Jeffrey. Last spot is a toss up. Maybe Uli. Maybe Laura. I just don't know. Please let Uli stay!

Have you all been taking your daily dose of Blogging Project Runway? I hope so because there is so much goodness there every single day!

It's My Party & I'll Host If I Want To....

Monday I will be turning 28.....

I'm not complaining about that, as I feel I look much younger and I'm happy with where I am in life. Tonight, however, I will be having my Birthday party.

Nay, I will be HOSTING my Birthday party.

Is it odd to host your own Birthday party? I rationalized to myself that it was perfectly acceptable....I told myself that celebrities throw their own Birthday parties all the time, right? And if I'm not a celeb, then who is? I'm totally a rockstar.

I also told myself that my hosting the party was a manifestation of my obsessive compulsive disorder. I'm not diagnosed as OCD, but I'm pretty sure I'm there. I'm extremely anal retentive, and I know that if someone else hosted my party I'd just dissect it; while I'd appreciate the thoughtful gesture, I know that I'd just analyze how I'd not only have done things differently, but done them better. It's a fault, but at least I own it, right?

So, as you head out tonight, pour one out for your new friend Steven. Celebrate me - have a drink and maybe some dessert. Live it up.

I'm worth it.

It's Offical - Pluto No Longer A Planet

Scientists gathered in Prague today have decided that Pluto is not qualified to be referred to anymore as a Planet, but they haven't evicted it from the neighborhood just yet. They have re-classified it a "dwarf planet" along with a few other celestial objects.

Truly, this comes as no big surprise. Some of us with better memories than mine may remember that Pluto is smaller than our own Moon and shares an orbit (for awhile) with Neptune. This was, unfortunately, inevitable. Our solar system's been slumming long enough.

Pluto was always missing something. It is no massive monstrosity like Jupiter or beautiful like Saturn or enigmatic like Neptune or quirky like Uranus. It doesn't share the same playing field as the "Lower 4": quiet Mercury, mysterious Venus, passionate Mars, or our own little blue and green ball of dirt.

Some people are against the decision. We've all come to know and love the distant cousin of the family solar and we're reluctant to let go. Earlier in the week, Tim Kreider, a cartoonist, wrote a hilarious op-ed for the NY Times in which he writes,

What I really wish is that we’d just grandfather Pluto in and then close all the loopholes. Let’s do it, not for scientific reasons, but for sentimental ones.

As a friend of mine at NASA said, “It would prove our humanity to let Pluto stay in.” It would be like that moment when the doorman is about to escort you out of a private party where you don’t, arguably, belong, but then someone who knows you taps him on the shoulder and says, “Wait a minute, I know this guy. He’s O.K.”

Project Runway - Season 3 - Episode 7 - Everyday Woman

Usually every week after Project Runway I get filled with thoughts and predictions and excitement. This week I am just annoyed. Why am I annoyed? Well let me start with the fact that Uli didn't win. Then to make it worse, Vincent won. Then I got this feeling the whole challenge was just a mess with an uneven playing field. Finally, I saw way too many garbage bag/moo moo looking outfit last nights, and women who are "plus size" don't have to look like that!! (Which is why Uli should have won!!!)

Ok now that I have gotten that out of my system...Let's talk about how CUTE a chubby little Kayne was??? That just made me love him more :)

So anyway, this week the designers were told they are making an outfit for the "everyday woman" - interesting, right? At first I thought wow that is great! And they made it even better by bringing out sisters and mothers of the designers. How sweet! Tears all around.

But then I saw the women - and that's when I started to get annoyed. First off, each woman looks completely different. About half were very much "plus size" and the other half were thin/slender type women. The whole shock of seeing family members made me forget that some designing was about to go down. But once I saw how unfair the competition was for certain designers over others....well, you all know how I feel. And by the way, if Uli would have won, this would have been a completely different post, but more on that later.

The big budget Project Runway flew in family members from all over the United States and even England. We are told that each designer had to pick another designer's mother or sister to design for. Here is the breakdown.

Judy (Kayne's mom) - Uli
Darlene (Angela'’s mom) - Jeffrey
Patricia (Vincent's sister) - Robert
Pamela (Michael's mom) - Kayne
Theresa (Roberts sister) - Michael
Pam (Jeffrey's mom) - Laura
Heidi (Uli's mom) - Vincent
Laurraine (Laura'’s mom) - Angela
(I may have gotten some of these names wrong, sorry)

So Angela's mom and Jeffrey. Could you think of a better match? Jeffrey put it best - God got drunk today! Or did he wake up drunk? Does God wake up? (I didn't know Jeffrey was such a religious man) You know this is going to be trouble.

The designers get together with their models (aka mommies and sisters) and are told they are invited to a special event hosted by the guest judge (who could it be???)

The guest judge is Michael Kors with a wig on. Ok well, actually it's his mother. But I swear they are TWINS. I want to do that Austin Powers thing where he pulls at the woman's hair and says "It's a MAN, BABY!"

So our Guest Judge, Joan Kors, and her split screen son, Michael, host a champagne party at Tavern on the Green...lovely! The mom's are out in full effect with awkward growing up pictures and stories. How cute!

Jeffrey's picture shows him looking very blonde and kinda preppy - maybe at a beachy high school in California? Turns out that blondie turned into an alcoholic, who is now recovering - and now we get the Jeffrey we all loathe (and some of you love) today.

And then we find out some big news - Laura is having ANOTHER child. Oh my god enough already Laura! Yea yea yea - super woman - career, don't dress down, blah blah blah. The only thing that I am sick of more than her ribcage is the fact that she needs to mention the fact that she has 5 kids all the time. Ok you think you are super woman - wonderful!!! Now you just topped yourself. Why are you on this show? Don't you have 5 kids to take care of????

By the way I know Michael Kors is the one who brought up the 5 kids this time - but still, I am just sick of Laura and this is the only way I can take it out on her.

The designers are sent back to the workroom and are now given a chance to get down to the designing. Tim Gunn tells the designers that they must make a look for an everyday woman. That means it should fit a day to day lifestyle, be fashion forward and reflect who you are as a designer. I want you all to remember the challenge when you look at the clothes because so many failed to be fashion forward and make an outfit to fit a day to day lifestyle - except ULI - who didn't win (what the!!!!!!)

The designers have 30 minutes to meet with the model and one day to make it work!

What happens from this point on is all fuzzy thanks to a little fight that breaks down between Jeffrey and Angela's mother, Darlene. Sure there was talk between the designers and models about zebra prints, Audrey Hepburn, rhinestones on shoes, vented skirts, and cruise ships. But none of the details matter after we see what goes down after the shopping trip.

So here is what went down. The great Tim Gunn was making his rounds in the workroom. He gets to Jeffrey's table, and the only person there at that moment was Darlene (Angela's mom). Tim asks Darlene what she thinks of Jeffrey's ideas and fabrics. She says she feels "matronly" and doesn't feel comfortable with the colors. Jeffrey suddenly appears looking kinda surprised that Tim is chatting with Darlene without him.

Jeffrey finds out that Darlene was giving a negative reaction to the design and Jeffrey starts to assume that Darlene is doing it on purpose to set him up. And you know what assuming does....

Tim walks away and lets Jeffrey and Darlene discuss. Jeffrey starts to be a snobby designer and says he is making the outfit he wants and he doesn't even appreciate Darlene standing there (meanwhile all of the designers are with their models working together). Then he says the thing he should not have said - he tells her that her taste in clothes reflects the fact that she is insecure. That is pretty much calling her fat. Don't go there Jeffrey!

Darlene is very upset and insulted. Angela tries to console her mother. Darlene feels there is so much hate in the workroom, that she doesn't even want to face Jeffrey anymore and that she has never been spoken to like that before.

Word gets back to the design work room that Jeffrey broke down Darlene. Jeffrey goes into ass mode and is like "I'm just being honest" "She wasn't nice to me, why should I be nice to her" --- Jeffrey, when will you learn?

Jeffrey's mom tries to come to the rescue and smooth over the tension. It seems to work - Jeffrey you are lucky your mommy is there to save you!

Enough of the drama...let's get to the designs.

Winner - (ugh I don't even want to write this) Vincent with Uli's mom

I don't want to talk about Vincent's design. He annoys me so much. Let me talk about cutie Uli's mom. She starts talking in broken English and the only one who understands her is Heidi - that totally cracked me up! (***Update - According to some helpful comments, I have found out Uli's mom was actually speaking German - which makes perfect sense for why Heidi was able to understand her***) According to Heidi, Uli's mom loved the dress. All the judges agree the dress was sleek and perfect for an adult. Ok Vincent, I will give you this one. You kept quiet enough this week anyway not to gross me out.

YOU SHOULD HAVE WON!!! - Uli with Kayne's mom

Uli should have won because she actually designed for one of the women who did not have a slim figure. She made a really slimming outfit, day to day wear, and put her touch as a designer on the outfit. She used her signature pattern mixing. I thought Kayne's mom looked so wonderful compared to all the other plus sized mommies/sisters. If this challenge was to design for an everyday woman and make her look good - Uli was given a real everyday woman (not like Uli's mom) and made her look amazing.

I think I could go on all day about this...but you all probably know where I am going...so I will just move on.

Almost a winner - Michael with Robert's sister

Michael made a reversiblele shirt dress. The judges constantly talk about how Michael thinks about his design and who he is making the outfit for. They are totally right - which is why he deserves to get to fashion week. He thought about Theresa being a business consultant - working during the day and maybe having drinks with the ladies after work. She could do one of those quick changes (like Superman) and reverse the dress for a day to night outfit. You are great, Michael. Keep on doing your thing!

All of the rest of the designers were at the bottom half. This week nobody was "safe" right after the runway challenge.

Laura with Jeffrey's mom

Who would have guessed that Jeffrey's mom is a cruise enthusiast? Can you just imagine her by the deck pool gossiping with fellow cruise guests. "Oh my son is a designer! You should see the wonderful things he does. (whispering) He used to be a junkie - but now he is all better!" (I imagine that in the Jewish mother voice and a lot of hand gestures- even though his mom really doesn't fit that mold. A girl can dream...)

Well I have nothing really to say about the outfit. Supposedly it was tailored well and it was cruise wear inspired. Yea whatever not interested.

(By the way, what is Laura wearing?? Is it a table cloth turned into a dress? A doily? Each week her personal outfits confuse me more and more)

Angela with Laura's mom

Laura's mom wanted to have an Audrey Hepburn style outfit. Considering Angela just made an Audrey outfit a few challenges ago this should have been easy. But instead of clean and classic we got black, baggy and fringes. She is a slim woman and Angela should not have had a hard time designing for her. This brings me back to the fact that Angela has only designed like 2 good outfits. The rest of her outfits made us all think she came from the same planet as Vincent.

Kayne with Michael's mom

Does anyone else think she is wearing a bib? I just didn't get what Kayne was trying to do here. First of all, if I have learned anything from Pink is the New Blog - Capris are a big NO NO. (Ok, I wear capris sometimes - but I have very little fashion taste and definitely do not belong on Project Runway). Kayne is lucky that two other designers made moo moo's - because otherwise he would have been closer to being out.

Jeffrey with Angela's mom

So this was the moment we were all kinda waiting for. After all the tension in the workroom - what was Jeffrey going to make? One god awful outfit - that is what he made! I have no clue what was going on with the random blue fabric on the front. He said she works in a salvation army - that doesn't mean she has to look like she shops there! Jeffrey, you are really bringing yourself closer to geting that auf'd. You should have listened to Darlene. If you are given a challenge you have to work with it - don't pull that Keith Michael thing and think you are better than the challenge.

And you are out - Robert with Vincent's sister

We all felt it coming. Robert week after week was getting the snooze alarm going off. And finally he sent this down the runway and did himself in. Doesn't Vincent's sister look like she is miserable in that outfit? I would be too! He could have just put a sheet over her and pulled off the same look. There is no style. There is no "Robert". There is no day to day look. There is only blah.

And once again after the auf'd the designers all burst into tears because they are so sad to see Robert go - even Jeffrey is crying! This is one emotional bunch - I don't remember last season being full of so many tears.

Robert is only filled with fond memories of his experience and knows nothing will ever be the same as Project Runway.

Predictions:

Next out - Kayne, then Jeffrey, then Angela, then Vincent.
Final Three - Uli, Michael and Laura.

I don't know why I am thinking Kayne is out next - but I just get this feeling he has lost some of his super power now that Robert is gone. And the last 2 outfits he has made were bad. Laura is now in my top 3, not because I like her, but because I think she is more consistent then the other designers. And somehow Vincent is saving his ass week after week - so he may make it almost to the end.

PS - I hope you are all keeping up with your Blogging Project Runway reading - everyday there is something new and interesting on that site!

A Question for Our Readers

Kovoor36 (a long time reader of Getting to Maybe) suggested in my recent post about Lost that we should do a weekly recap of Season 3 of Lost.

So that makes me want to ask our readers - do you have any suggestions of what you want to see on the blog in the future?

Are there certain shows that you wish we would talk about? Are you sick of the daily quotes or any other repeating posts that we make? Would you like us to bring something back that we stopped doing?

Give us some feedback.....hopefully we can answer your requests - and maybe give the new contributors some ideas to blog about.

Thanks to everyone for reading the blog!!!!

What Did This Woman Do To Get Fired?

Mary Lambert did one simple thing. Be a woman.

This is the church in Watertown, NY. She worked there as a Sunday School teacher.

They have a new Church policy based on the first epistle to Timothy which says:

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."

Rev. Timothy LaBouf and his church have made the stance that a woman should not teach in a church. He said "I believe that a woman can perform any job and fulfill any responsibility that she desires to outside of the church."

Bullshit.

You judge for yourself - check out the article.

As the new kid on the block, I wanted to do a quick post to introduce myself and say hi to all the folks out in Cyberland. I hope that in the near future, you will find my posts to be informative and educational. Well, in the least, I hope that they will be witty and entertaining. Alright, so maybe that's a stretch too...we'll see if we can't at least get them to be spell checked and grammatically correct, okay?

Project Runway - Season 3 - Episode 6 - Waste Not, Want Not

This is the week that everything went wrong.

This is the week Uli was robbed.

This is the week everyone lost their minds.

This is the week where Project Runway tries to break the designers.

This is the week when someone won two challenges "back to back."

This is the week where Vincent has creeped me out beyond the point of no return.

This is the week everyone could have used a little more sleep.

Let's start with what needs to go.
1. Laura's ribcage shots.
2. Vincent.
3. Heidi's stylist.
4. Angela Laura trying to dance to Michael's beat box sound. (Turns out that wasn't Angela, but Laura. Either way - needs to go)

Now let's go to what we need more of.
1. Robert and Kayne comedy hour.
2. Uli.
3. Tim in a bright green construction hat.
4. Kayne talking about his dumpster diving days.

Now you recap readers, you all know what went down this episode. The designers went to New Jersey - complained about the grayness of the state - and then found themselves at a recycling warehouse. They were given very little sleep and a huge task of making an outfit out of recycled materials they found in the warehouse. Then they were given the insane budget of $25 to use in an art store.

If any of you have ever tried your hand at any artistic trade you will know that $25 will get you a tube of paint, a box of crayons, maybe some glitter, and if you are lucky a paintbrush from the clearance bin.

It seemed like to me that the show was trying their very hardest to get the designers to "crack" by putting as much pressure on them as possible. They made them wake up at 5am - sent them to a foreign city (yes NJ is foreign) - made them sift through garbage in funky green outfits - and then gave them the smallest amount of time possible to make it work. And they must have taken away the good drugs because everyone was in a bad mood.

So the talk of this episode focused on Vincent being insane. Everyone noticed it. Even Heidi! Now that we all admit that he needs to be heavily medicated (I mean come on, how many times does he say he "gets off" on his design?) - please someone tell me HOW IS HE STILL ON THE SHOW? Is it really just because he knows how to construct? Because that does not cut it! (Hehehehe I said "cut it" because this is designing and they cut fabric and cut people off the show….ok I will stop now).

We also are starting to see Laura get testy. Was Keith Michael right when he called her a bad mommy? She does not seem to have patience for anyone on the show. Is she the new villain?

Enough about the drama - let's get to the designs!

WINNER - Michael

I have a lot of love for Michael. He has really shown his talent and his desire to win. He also has such a great spirit. He wasn't my top choice to win this week - but I am still very happy he won. I want him to get to the end and get what he deserves! Go Michael! Go Michael!

And if he keeps on doing his little dance after he is named the winner then keep him on as long as possible!

Almost the winner - Jeffrey

The judges really loved this dress and said it was the only one that actually moved like it was fabric (and not garbage). As much as I am not a Jeffrey fan - I will have to say this dress is totally him and done well. Michael Kor's called Jeffrey's style "ugly/beautiful" and I totally agree. You want to look away and say to your friend "what is that girl wearing?" but then when you look back you are strangely attracted to it.

Also on top - but not a winner - Laura

I have said this many times - and I am glad the judges have finally said it as well - everything that Laura puts out there is "Laura" - it should just have a little tag on the back that says her name because she is her own brand. The high wasted skirt, the ribcage neckline, the simple, clean, sophisticated look. The flower looked great - can't believe that was made of garbage (I wonder if she got some tips from Angela on that one). Laura has stayed strong since the show started - and I am sure she can keep up her level of taste. But that said - can she WOW me?

YOU SHOULD HAVE WON - Uli

Uli you are so wonderful and have so much talent. How did the judges not see that this week? I mean really, what happened? The skirt of this dress was so beautiful and detailed. The top was not a halter. I mean what else can they ask for? Uli, even if you don't win another challenge, just keep putting out the amazing work, make it to the top 3 - and then floor them at fashion week!

Good Enough to be In - Robert

You know what, I am getting bored of people saying Robert is boring. Can't we think of another word? This dress wasn't really all that boring - it was shiny and textured and....well, kinda interesting! Yea ok, I know he won't make it to the final 3. That's ok. Just keep him around so he can make jokes with Kayne.

By the way - look at this strange picture of Robert from Tim's Take this week...

Yea, I don't know either.

Safe, but I am not sure why - Angela

Did anyone else think about Bradley when this outfit came out? Maybe he took over Angela's body before he left last week. Or maybe Angela is going back to her kookie ways? Listen we have all been giving Angela so much credit - but remember she has only had 2 good outfits - before that she was all bubble skirts and hookers working at a day camp.

Thank god you weren't cut - Kayne

I will admit I was worried for Kayne. But secretly I really loved the first skirt he did. I don't know what it was but I was feeling it. But Tim didn't like it - so it had to go. But that said, remember Tim didn't like Bradley's outfit once and Bradley almost won that challenge. Who knows what could have happened if the big green flower went down the runway - I am sure we would have heard a GASP from Michael Kors and seen a few nose twitches from Nina Garcia. But fear not - Kayne made it another week.

WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? - Vincent

Vincent, you are starting to remind me of the creepy guy in the neighborhood that I hide from. You are totally on your own planet but you insist to live amongst the rest of us. You first said your dress reminded you of a child's drawing - and then you start talking about how you "get off" on your design. Ew. Please go away.

I am so sad to see you go - Alison

Alison, I really had hopes for you to be in the final 3. You showed so much potential during the past few episodes. I bet if you were able to get your materials sewed together you would have had no problem. But that didn't work and you were forced to come up with a last minute design. I still have tons of respect for you and I think you are way better than most designers on the show. You will be missed. And I think the designers can even agree to that considering all the hugs and tears at the end of the episode.

But that said, what is up with the bow? I don't get it.

Predictions:

Final 3 - Uli, Michael and Kayne

Next out - Robert, then Vincent, Angela, Laura, Jeffrey (in that order).

I really wish Vincent could go first. I wish I knew what he has done to those judges that makes them want to keep him each week? He isn't that much of entertainment value considering how creepy he has become. Hopefully next week I will be proved wrong and he will be out.
